Meet the Model: Merille Raagas

Filipina beauty Merille Raagas, hailing from Australia, is one of the most sought after models in the fashion industry on an international scale. Her successful career as a model is much like her persona – mysterious, consistent, and absolutely remarkable.

Merille started her modelling career in Australia while finishing her law degree at Bond University Australia. Talk about a rare combination of beauty and brains. Her most notable campaigns in the land down under include Target, Qantas Airways, Becca Cosmetics, Veronika Maine, David Jones, Myer and Coles. She has graced the pages of Vogue Italia, Marie Claire,  Elle, GQ and Cosmopolitan. All of this while still showing up to the Supreme Court of New South Wales!

After taking a break from practicing law in 2019, Merille decided to take her modelling career to the next stage. She is no stranger to international modelling placements as she’s had a very fruitful career in several Asian countries, Australia, and New Zealand. Eventually, she ventured into the United States and made Los Angeles her home base, but not without the occasional bookings in New York City. Merille entered the LA scene with a huge stride and quickly made a name for herself. She has worked with an array of high-profile brands that plastered her face all over the world like Google (twice, I might add), Sephora, Ulta, Infiniti, KKW Beauty, Vegamour, Sexy Hair, Strokes Beauty Lab and Pendelton.

Merille was recently spotted on TV when she walked for Supermodel Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Jeremy Scott and Nichole Richie for Amazon Studios’s Making the Cut. Merille has made it to the top percentage of the most sought after models in the world and there is so much more to come from this Aussie-Filipina stunner.
